experiences

So as I get ready for my trip to New Zealand, I am reminded of my last trip. The experiences I had were some of the greatest of my life so far.

I remember when I first got to England and my taxi got lost on the way to the pub I was suppose to be working and living in. Then once we finally found it a co-worker and I had to lug my two suitcases up 5 flights of stairs, that was fun. -.- Did I mention they were 50 pounds each. (No I didn't pack light, but I was going for a year, I thought I would need a lot of stuff!)

Once I got to my room, I opened the door to find it was roughly the size of a closet. At that very moment I realized exactly what I had done and where I was. It never actually hit me until then.
And then add the jetlag and I was about ready to lug my bags back down the stairs and catch the next flight back home. I'm lucky I had such good people living with me in the pub, they really helped me at that time.
And boy am I glad I didn't leave, I would not have missed that year for the world.
